When We Were Twelve – EP
“When We Were Twelve” is a suite of four adventures from my youth. Track one, “The Tractor in the Field”, is about the field of grass behind my friend’s house that housed an old, run down tractor. We would climb up on the tractor and loosen the gas cap which leads us to….
Track two, “The Gas Sniffers”. I don’t recommend huffing gas fumes. If you never have but wonder what it is like this track embodies the experience well.
Track three, “Unlicensed Drivers”, is a sonic representation of our adventures riding my friend’s dirt bike on the back roads. We also took his mom’s old station wagon out on occasion.
Track four, “Weed”, is about my long lost love, weed. While I don’t smoke weed anymore, I certainly did a lot in my younger days and this piece describes my feelings about it.
I hope you enjoy “When We Were Twelve”!
